The Fife and Kinross Working Terrier Club was formed in 1984 by a group of terrier enthusiasts. It's primary aim was as a terrier rescue service, to rescue terriers which had become trapped working vermin to ground.

The club offers a service to farmers, gamekeepers, shepherds etc. in the control of vermin.

In later years, the club has had to become politically motivated to combat the threat to hunting with dogs from a  government which doesn't understand the country way of life.

In the summer months, we also attend country fairs and shows with our terrier racing display team which shows the dogs as they really are, happy and go lucky.
