Tayside Airgun Club

The Club was formed in the spring of 1999 with the objective of promoting the sport of airgun shooting by bringing together like minded people who required a safe shooting environment, a friendly atmosphere and an unbiased approach to the sport of airgun shooting. In it's short history the club with a strong committee at the helm and with support and sponsorship from the local shooting outlets and gun manufacturers has achieved it's objective. Our greatest thanks must however go to our landlord, Auchterhouse Country Sports without whose support and tolerance the club would not be where it is today. The club offers a variety of shooting disciplines. Hunter Field Target (the new airgun sport sweeping through the country) Field Target, Sporter Air Rifle (the new discipline directed at the under 21 age group) Plinking ranges and CO2 and pneumatic pistol shooting. Both outdoor and indoor ranges are available and are fully equipped with the required targets. As Would be expected of a club of our nature, safety is the number one overriding factor, and to this end, safety practices and procedures are paramount and rigorously enforced.
